I noticed that this store had items that weren't really at other stores on the Royal Mile (touristy areas). Expect to pay for the quality and craftsmanship. The staff were patient, helpful, and informative (about the provenance of each product). One staff member jot down some recommendations to visit in Edinburgh. Cannot recommend enough.
