My Terrible Experience with Luiz Diaz: In June of 2025, I was looking to change my car and a family friend who recently got a car from Seaport auto recommended I go there and ask of Luiz. On arrival I met with him and he pretended to be friendly and helpful. After I told him exactly the brand and model of cars of my preference, Luiz intentionally lured me to signing a document to check my credit report without my consent. I had asked him from the word go, if he was going to run my credit and if it was going to be a hard inquiry and he responded “NO”. Minutes later I got a notification from Experian about my credit check, I asked him and he denied that was not from him. He didn’t do that, and he went further to explain that if at all it will be a soft pull and it won’t affect my credit. When it was time to show me the cars at the lot, there was none onsite and he attempted to force other cars on me , marketing how good those cars were and I insisted on my choice of cars. He handed me over to his colleague to see how he can also convince me not to leave without taking a car. I explained to his colleague why I needed specific cars. Finally I left for my appointment and kept in touch as soon as I got notifications from other credit bureaus, He consistently denied for 3 days. I called the manager and also spoke with different heads and the only solution given was , we promised to give you a call as soon as we have your model of car. We apologize for the bad experience with Luiz. Yet, they were unwilling /unable to undo the HARD INQUIRY on my credit. Beware, Luiz will talk anyone in to accepting what he has to offer not what you really want. Thankfully, 2 weeks later I got the exact car I wanted from another dealership which has remained a perfect fit for me without a dent on my credit report.
