We’ve stayed in many Shangri-La la hotels ,all of which maintain the high standards that reflect the ethos of the brand but Abu Dhabi is our favourite. We’ve stayed as a couple and with larger groups of family and all have been impressed and keen to return. |The hotel and grounds are beautifully maintained, the rooms are spacious with great amenities and serviced twice daily - quite unusual these days. |The view of the Grand mosque is spectacular and the hotel is well located for all the attractions - taxis are plentiful and inexpensive. |What makes this hotel even more special is the staff. Mr Issa leads a fantastic team and nothing is too much trouble. |Everyone greets you with a smile and a desire to help and they have genuine pleasure in meeting your needs and providing excellent customer service. |The Horizon Club team - led so ably by Jane - are all wonderful with a great blend of personalities, Danilo leads the Sofia bld team with humour and charm and both the food and service are worthy of praise ( brunch is exceptional) . Kamal’s beach and pool team are fantastic providing towels, constant supply of cold water, moving sunbeds and umbrellas and catering for your every need. |Housekeeping deserves a mention for immaculate rooms, front desk and concierge for their helpfulness and I could go on and on.|I need to mention Jose who is such an energetic and enthusiastic duty manager. |This hotel truly is a shangri la.

Brahma has been absolutely fantastic! ||Every time we come back to our room, it’s spotless and perfectly organised, his attention to detail is truly impressive. On top of that, he always greets us with a warm smile and a friendly attitude, making us feel so welcome and comfortable. Shangrila Abu Dhabi Resort is certainly the best place to stay when you visit the capital. It is the world of perfection and comfort for sure. The Sofra restaurant buffet meals and shisha terrace are beyond expectations. Housekeeping are literally doing everything to make you feel at home. My room attendednt was Mrs. Honey and we were impressed with her ability to make our room fresh and clean and tidy and beautiful every day. She is one of the best in HK.

The service is what would bring me back over and over. From the valet, concierge & very helpful reception staff to the luxurious room, delicious breakfast and amazing views of the mosque. The turn down service was a cherry on top and just so inviting for the peaceful sleep you get in their comfortable beds. I loved the soothing cascade of the waterfall shower and the complimentary toiletries were a thoughtful touch, adding a touch of luxury to the experience.
