I hired Jia Junaid to prepare a demand letter related to a family matter and paid a $1,000 CAD retainer. She initially gave me a timeline of around two weeks but completely failed to meet it. For over four months, she ignored my emails and calls and provided no updates or services whatsoever. I live outside Canada, and she seemed to take advantage of that by being unresponsive and unaccountable. In the end, I received absolutely nothing for the $1,000 I paid. I strongly advise others to be cautious before hiring her. I have since filed a complaint with the Law Society of Ontario regarding this matter.
