I visited Side Bar in Orlando and waited for 15 minutes, observing patrons of diverse racial backgrounds being acknowledged, while I was not. Following a conversation with the manager, who was a Spanish male and had been referred to me by security, he attempted to shift the focus onto me as the issue. He claimed that his bartenders were not racist. Subsequently, he proceeded to Room 22 and informed the lady at the entrance that I was not permitted to enter. Notably, this establishment was previously involved in a drug-selling incident over the summer, which was addressed by the Orlando Police Department in a sting operation.

Had an excellent experience here. Came in for a quick drink and loved the atmosphere and vibe. As tourists, the bouncer was very friendly and answered all of our questions in a professional manner and we received service right away after seating ourselves. Would definitely visit again.

I recently came to sidebar 4/2 expecting to purchase a bottle and enjoy my night but I had a disgusting experience last night i come to side bar and buy a bottle ANY Tuesday i am there and ALWAYS tip beautiful and every time i have come even if it is not a Tuesday the same occurrence always happens with your head security guard he is an older Haitian man he is a perv and always harasses me and my friends last night we were denied access due to us getting in an argument with this man for following us we are crossing the street the same time as him and he proceeds to turn around and follow us to a smoke shop called lifted and tried to speak to us we advised him to stop following us and went upstairs we proceeded to come back down and by no surprise he was still standing downstairs wanting to argue !!! he proceeds to walk with us throwing a fit and became very defensive and argumentative i will not lie I also became argumentative because I was having a good night until he wanted to be weird my problem/question is where was he walking to originally and why did he not continue to walk to his destination instead decided to follow and argue this has not been the first interaction there has been times when i am sitting and i have a bottle and he will proceed to try and beg for a shot or bother us even after we advise we would like to be left alone jokingly or not it’s not okay security should secure the area not bother and harass good paying customers looking to spend money and have a good time his main point was he is a millionaire and owns sidebar hard to believe security who acts like that on multiple occasions could EVER be a millionaire or own a establishment like sidebar id like to speak to the ACTUAL owner please because I can make a list of woman who have complaints about this one man specifically and that is a SHAME if I need to start a petition to get this man fired or under control please let me know and I will sidebar is usually one of my favorite places to sit buy a bottle and vibe but i hope to come back and not have these issues and enjoy my uninterrupted night

Pros: Great Hookah Bar overall, pat down for your safety, friendly staff, various of flavors of hookah, clean bathroom, Great DJ, music was on point! Cons: Hookah too expensive ($57), I have experienced similar hookahs in Germany, Korea, UK and Japan for only $20-$25 at most, Place too Small. No Menu for the Hookah, please at least make a sign or place a menu online for your customers with a QR Code with the pricing. Thanks for having me!
