Customer experiences
āļøāļøāļøāļøāļø Shereen is such a wonderful owner and a genuinely kind soul. She helped my daughter with scars she had been self-conscious about, and my daughter is so much happier and more confident. That in turn makes me so happy as a parent. We couldnāt be more grateful!
I had an appointment that was booked weeks in advance. Upon arrival, I was taken to the treatment room and seated, only to be told at that point that I needed to complete a new intake form. I agreed and began filling it out, but was then directed to the final section, which unexpectedly required entry of a credit card. In the fine print, it statedāwithout prior noticeāthat 50% of a missed appointment would be charged. I declined to input my credit card information for two key reasons: 1. I do not feel comfortable entrusting credit card details to an establishment where there is no clear policy or transparency regarding how such information is stored or handled, especially considering that spas open and close frequently. 2. There is no clarification on what constitutes a "missed appointment" or how much notice is required, effectively leaving the discretion entirely with the business. Despite this, I requested to proceed and bypass it, given I had already arrived, adjusted my schedule, and was sitting in the treatment room on the chair. The staff consulted with the owner and informed me that unless I entered my credit card, the appointment could not proceed. This approach is not only unprofessional but also highly unethicalāparticularly for a returning client who had already confirmed the booking. The credit card authorization was embedded in what appeared to be a Credit Card Billing form and I was told its an intake form (an intake form without any health questions on there but simply address). A sneaky way to take your credit card information that what I saw on both pages. If this was a required form, it should have been communicated well in advance per procedure. I second guessed myself and checked my emails as well and no there was no request for any new form. It was just a credit card / billing information gathering form. I reiterated that I had adjusted my schedule to be present for the appointment and was already in the treatment room. I asked if we could simply proceed without that particular requirement, as it didnāt make sense why such fragile info is needed here. The nurse responded by saying, āItās your concern that you changed your schedule,ā which I found dismissive and unprofessional. This experience reflects poorly on both the establishment's customer service standards and ethical practices. In a competitive industry where service and trust are paramount, this kind of treatment toward a repeat client is abhorrent.
I have been going to nurse Jenna for about a year now for lip flips and recently, lip filler. SHE IS AMAZING!!! She does such a thorough job, explains the procedure and makes sure you understand what's going on, and makes sure you leave happy and that her work is flawless. I always leave feeling and looking my best. She is also super funny and I enjoy my appointments and our chats. I could not recommend Jenna and SKN enough!
Professional, knowledgeable, friendly and welcoming staff. Went to a previous home operated laser place for treatment on an angioma and went multiple times with no results. Came here for the same reason and recieved a different laser treatment and saw results immediately. Thier equipment works well and staff knows how to use it to get good results.
SKN Med Spa is a medical spa.
