Sleep Inn & Suites Cave City

Worst place ever to stay..not only did they not bring us fresh towels or tp etc but there was junkies partying next door. I guess they live there . Looked like tweekers who cleaned the rooms. If u wanna call it clean .. the floors felt like I was sticking to tape . Owner tried to keep my deposit . If you stay.. beware .. they seemed fishy when I kept calling about my deposit that wasn't returned like they said it would be . Do better ppl !

Location is great for the Big South Fork Scenic Railway. That's the one good thing I can say about this motel. We booked this motel for two nights but only spent one. We had to call for access to the office for both check-in and check-out. The walls had been painted multiple times with what I believe is simple flat paint and never sealed. You can still smell the cigarette smoke leaching from the walls. The room was not clean. The lady was pleasant but that did little to persuade us to stay a second night. Our door was lock checked in the middle of the night and someone sat outside our door for awhile. We left the TV on at the index screen to play music. At about 2:30am we woke up to a phonographic show. No smoke detector, no door stop plate for the chain. dirty towels, no carpet, no discount. Management said they were remodeling but what it needs is a total gut and replacement by reputable contractors.

Great motel for the price including dogs. The service was good, the front desk lady I believe her name is Jess was really nice and just a call away if needed anything. Me and my boyfriend stayed with our 3 dogs for a get away trip, we stayed 4 days total. The room was decent better than most hotel rooms I’ve seen. The room was clean and smelt like it was recently cleaned also. The only down fall about the room was the shower head, it would be spraying you and the ceiling at the same time and the paint chips would fall sometimes but that’s an easy fix. The hot water is really good, it’ll get super hot fast so be careful 😂. Big South Forks is amazing to go hiking also.
