I’ve never had such a positive and comfortable experience at a dental office in my life. From the moment I walked into Smile Lounge of Edmond, I could tell this place operates on a higher level. The staff is incredible- friendly, professional, and genuinely caring from start to finish. The front desk team makes scheduling and check-in effortless, and they take all the frustration out of handling insurance. The entire team is great, careful and thorough while keeping you completely at ease. Dr. Khan is truly one of a kind. She takes time to sit and talk with you, not over you, and never makes you feel rushed. It is rare to find a dentist who listens, explains things clearly, and makes you feel like a priority every time you are in the chair. Her gentle approach and genuine concern for her patients stand out in every way. My first visit here felt personal and positive, which is something I never thought I would say about going to the dentist. Dr. Khan and her entire team at Smile Lounge have set the bar high, and I honestly cannot imagine going anywhere else.

I cannot say enough great things about Dr. Khan, her team, and the Smile Lounge experience. After almost 10 years of “meh” experiences with various dentists in the metro, I stumbled upon Dr. Khan’s office in a recommendation from a local moms group. I decided to reach out to schedule a regular exam and cleaning and the only regret I have is not finding her sooner. First, I was contacted within 2 hours of submitting the request and was offered a same day appointment and a couple other options in the following days. This blew me away after my typical experience of new patient exams being scheduled many months out in advance. The paperwork- often times, coming to a new dentist means filling out a ton of new patient paperwork online, only to be told to arrive 15 minutes early to complete all the same paperwork in the office. I completed everything online in advance and didn’t have to repeat anything. The office- while a clinic’s appearance isn’t necessarily a priority when choosing your dentist, it’s always refreshing to be seen in a welcoming space. This office is cute, inviting, and comfy! THE TEAM- holy heck I can’t even summarize this in words. I have never, not once, been so blown away by a team before. From the moment I checked in, everyone was so friendly and fun. And I don’t mean normal stiff professional friendly, I mean you’ll-want-to-invite-them-all-to-Thanksgiving- friendly. We laughed, we joked, we had a great time. And that’s saying something, because at the end of the day a dental exam is not high on my list of “fun afternoon activities” My husband and I had our appointments a week apart, and everyone remembered us/caught up from where we left off when we came back. The care- fun times and jokes aside, Dr. Khan and her team are gentle, compassionate, and honest. They provided options, made recommendations, but were quick to say when expensive treatments would not be helpful or wouldn’t improve things. I have pretty intense jaw pain during dental exams and I was given plenty of breaks and frequently checked in on to make sure I was doing ok. My husband needed more intense procedures and has significant dental anxiety. Dr. Khan was so incredibly kind during his appointment and made sure he was comfortable at all times. I can’t say enough great things. We hugged at the end of my appointment and I don’t even hug most of my family 😂 If you’re done with dreading the dentist, you need to head over to Dr. Khan and start feeling excited about your dental visits. I’m tempted to “accidentally” crack a tooth just so I have a reason to stop by sooner.

Dr Khan is amazing. She took the time to explain every details to me even when she had a full schedule with patients. She gave me several different alternative and explained the pros and Cons of each and left it up to me to choose what I want and never tried to push me to do one vs the other: I already schedule to take My kids there. Cant wait to start my treatment with her .

I believe it is an act of God to have been lead to the Smile Lounge of Edmond. My dental health was in poor shape at my first appointment and I’ve ended up in the office more times than one probably should in a year. Every appointment I am met with compassion and a step by step plan to address all that is going on. Dr. Khan and her entire office do a fantastic job with informing you of what it is you need to be done and why. This office is the perfect place for those of us with dental anxiety!
