Absolutely horrible experience with Atlas / Smith Dray Line out of Rock Hill, SC. I’ve never seen such disorganization and lack of accountability from a moving company. First off, I didn’t even have that much to move — yet a crew of 4–5 movers took over 14 hours to complete the job. That’s outrageous and completely unjustifiable. Then, to make matters worse, one of the movers failed to document that I pointed out a missing TV and still had me sign the paperwork anyway. If I hadn’t immediately called Adrianne myself, the company would’ve just written it off as my word against the driver’s. Completely unacceptable. The handling of the claim was just as bad. It took far too long, and I had to push every step of the way just to get a response. Lisa finally agreed to issue a refund for the missing TV, but I still haven’t even received confirmation that I’m getting reimbursed for the full amount I paid for the replacement through Samsung. This entire process has been a nightmare — from the inefficiency of the move to the lack of care or ownership afterward. I’ll never use Atlas or Smith Dray Line again, and I’d strongly caution anyone else to think twice before hiring them.

From start to finish, our recent move with Smith Dray was wonderful. We were impressed when we received a card in the mail that said you would not keep calling us to get the job. When we called back, your representative came to our home and assessed our needs and offered options to meet them. The movers were incredible. We had a great experience from start to finish with Smith Dray Line for our move in December 2020. Every employee, from the estimator to the scheduler to the moving crew, was professional, courteous, helpful, and prompt. All communication was timely and thorough. Our belongings were treated with care and arrived in great shape. We also appreciated the [free!] used boxes for our packing. While Smith Dray Lines' estimate was not the lowest we received, it was a very fair price and we certainly got our money's worth--and peace of mind as well. By far the best mover of several we have used over the years.

After being dumped by another local company on a Friday afternoon less than 48 hours before they were to arrive and move us out the day before closing, I was in a panic. I called Smith Dray Lines and Adrienne was wonderful. Just as pleasant and kind as she could be. She had a representative at my home within 2 hours and the movers at my home that Sunday morning at 8 am and they were wonderful. It was raining but the movers were troopers. They also moved our furniture in our new house and did a wonderful job. They are so protective of furniture and the floors. I really appreciated their attention to things like that. I am a local Realtor so they have my referrals always. Great Job Smith Dray Lines.
