We engaged this architectural firm for our loft conversion and unfortunately had a very disappointing experience. While the drawings were well done, the communication and client service were really lacking. At the time, my wife was pregnant, and the firm was fully aware of our circumstances. Despite this, there were long periods—up to six weeks—without any response to our messages. Importantly, the council requested amendments to the drawings, and the firm's delayed responses ultimately led to our planning permission being rejected. In the end, we had to find a new architect, costing us both time and over a thousand pounds. We hope this feedback helps others make an informed decision. Good communication is crucial, and we felt that was really lacking here.

We used Solent architects to help us design a more user friendly bungalow for my mum. The layout wasn’t great so Rachel came up with a lovely design which involved moving a few rooms around and to have an extension put on the back so mum could have the lounge at the back overlooking the garden. Very pleased with the service we have received so far. It will look amazing once it’s finished. Would definitely recommend Rachel
