This company provides on-time, friendly service to their customers. I used them twice and they were right on time. They even text you when they're on route to pick you up. Andrew drove me both times and he treated me as if he knew me for years. And when you get to your destination, he will make sure you get to the right spot to where you're going. Wonderful service. I highly recommend them to everyone.

I was a little stressed because I had a flight out of south bend and no Ubers and Lyfts were available in New Buffalo. I called the taxi service at 6:30 AM and they eased my worries and drove out to come get me 45 minutes away and got me there in plenty of time. Highly recommend

My driver hit a dog during my ride, and while I'm not sure of the outcome, it appeared to be a serious (potentially fatal) injury. I was also concerned that the driver was frequently distracted by his phone-making calls and texts, as well as scrolling-for much of the drive. It was a very disheartening experience, and I believe it could have been avoided if the driver had been more attentive. Based on this experience, I won't be using South Bend Taxi again. EDIT: I've read the owner's response and would like to clarify a few points. The accident occurred on an empty street around 5:30 AM with no traffic, and I was the one who contacted the police. We resumed our trip after the officer arrived and the police report was completed, as the officer said that an insurance claim couldn’t be filed if the driver left prior to completion. While I’ve had several successful rides with this company in the past, I’ve consistently observed drivers using their phones directly in hand, not via Bluetooth as claimed in the response. Regarding reimbursement, I was not informed of any; the owner simply asked me to reach out, and when I called, I received no response. Unfortunately, the owner’s reply misrepresents the situation at several points. I appreciate the positive experiences I’ve had previously, but I remain concerned about the recurring inattentiveness I've witnessed while riding with this company.
