I love this place in Lyndhurst. The dentist is very gentle, and she does an amazing job. For there only being one dentist, she is on point! She is respectful and knowledgeable. The dentist assistants are very kind and knowledgeable as well. The receptionists are very informative and kind also. The wait time is not long, and everyone is professional. Great place for adults and children. 🙌 BTW, I love the appointment call reminders.

I am ashamed to say this was my first time to the dentist in years. I have to get my wisdom teeth extracted. The ladies at the front desk as well as the Dr and assistant were all very nice. It was a pleasant environment. They were very informative and helped me to feel as relaxed as possible. I was also greatful they were able to squeeze me in same day to help eleviate the pain I was in. I recommend!!

First I’d like to say I have never had issues with the front desk staff they have always been nice and professional. My issue is that they claim to accept NJ Medicaid and had no issues accepting it to do preventative care and a filling in September. I called to schedule my wisdom teeth extractions and two other extractions that I needed and they scheduled it no problem. I received a call today saying that they are having issues with NJ Medicaid so I would have to pay out of pocket to get my extractions when I know typically these are covered services. The way it works with Medicaid is that you would get approval before treatment. I asked the woman if they got it approved and she said no the person who scheduled it didn’t submit it. Fine, I asked can’t they just submit it for approval and reschedule the appointment for a later date. She said no we are having ”issues” with them so they will automatically deny it. I could be wrong but this leads me to believe that they’ll gladly take my insurance for preventative and basic procedures, but as NJ Horizon Medicaid is known not to pay as much as PPO insurances they won’t use it for major procedures, such as extractions because the fee schedule is very small compared to other insurances. Once again this is all speculation, but I am a former dental insurance coordinator so keep that in mind. I will be contacting NJ Horizon Medicaid on Monday to see if they are in network and if they are I will let them know about my experience. I am also going to suggest they audit this practice to make sure the procedures being done are being billed to the correct dentists and not just to the ones that come up in network for payment. I will update this review with my findings.
