Southern Nevada Community Health Center

I went to this community center today and it really takes a lot for me to fill out a bad Google review. The attending doctors in the back of the office were fantastic however the wait time was ridiculous with no communication on timeline. After I concluded my appointment at 10:30 (my appointment was set at 9:15am) the doctor's instructed me that I needed to have my blood drawn. They sat me in the waiting room and after an hour I asked one of the phlebotomists if she could check and see if I needed to pee also for them, instead of being courteous she told me I could reschedule (as I had another appointment I was now going to miss by being at my scheduled appointment on time and now going on 3 hours) she then lied and said she was the only one drawing blood but once I was called an hour and a half later she was no where to be found! I had 2 other phlebotomists working on me to get me finally on my way. At this point I am IRATE! Then to add insult to injury before inspecting my arms for a blood draw the attending person asked ME "now where are we going to be able to draw blood from?!" As if I had excessive scarring or was a hard stick. I am a salon manager and deal with the public daily. I would never treat my clients in that manner and my advice to you all is investigate before assuming. You don't know who you're speaking to and Vegas is small. I won't be recommending anyone to go there. It's too bad. Culture is built from the top. So really who is to blame? Also to the snide woman who wouldn't even check my chart to allow me to use the restroom...check your additude at the door no one asked you to work at that doctor's office. You signed on the dotted line so figure it out.

Seriously, 3 times driving there from Southwest to be seen. That's 6 hours of driving over 10 days to be seen. I showed up at 9am and have to come back at 1:30pm unless I show up 1st at 8am. Next day I show up 1st and can't be seen until 10:40. How many random b.s. Meetings does this Manager have? $45 in Gas which defeats the whole purpose of assistance for low income. Place operates like a 3rd world country. Garbage. I can afford to drive but I'm going to use those free transportation vouchers. If the Government is going to be dysfunctional then make them pay for it.

I guess it’s just a thing for “medical” services to just ignore peoples calls 24/7. At this point it’s very unprofessional and ridiculous how much they’ve ignored my calls today. Las Vegas is the worst
