After speaking with several contractors, all who were highly rated, I selected Springfield Roofing. Why? The sales representative, Ben, worked with me and combined my preferences with his expertise to get the scope of work just right for me, and the crew did an excellent job of replacing my roof. Already after only one day, I have already had several neighbors stop by and tell me what a good job it is, that they were watching the install while I was away at work. I guess I was the entertainment of the neighborhood this week, with so many people watching the work going on. The crew was great and very knowledgeable, identifying at least three areas where the previous roof was not correctly installed, in one case causing a large rotten spot that they also fixed, in another, modifying poorly installed flashing. I completely recommend them and would have no hesitation to use them again.

I cannot say enough for the professionalism, amazing communication, respectfulness and kindness of the entire Springfield Roofing team. I have never experienced such a smooth and competent house repair in my life. I live in an 118 year old classic DC row-house that needed a complete replacement and modern updates. Springfield roofers efficiently brought my beautiful home up to code plus I received a new skylight with a remote controlled shade… now that’s what I call an upgrade! I will 100% be recommending Springfield to all of my friends, family and neighbors. They are the best of the best!

I highly recommend Springfield Roofing! A neighbor had roof work done recently and gave me their name for my job. The process from initial inspecting, scheduling and completing our roof was seamless and easy. Communication from Andrew Watson, Estimator, was frequent and helpful. The crew were on time, courteous, professional and very neat. In addition to a whole new roof, they fixed some of my gutters and downspouts. I will call them again to keep my house maintained.

We had some holes in the soffit from woodpeckers and I called 3 companies to get estimates. The first, a large and heavily advertised one, was pushy on the phone and insisted both homeowners had to be present to hear the estimate. I found that insulting. The second was Springfield Roofing. JC came to do the estimate and he was great - knowledgeable, professional, and thorough. He told me about the family-owned company, which was important to me. He said their estimate might not be the cheapest but their work was the best. And he was right. The third company spent half the time looking over the job, and though it was $400 cheaper, it didn't include some of the aspects Springfield Roofing performed. The day they were scheduled it rained and they didn't come, but I wasn't worried - however, JC called and apologized for the delay, saying the supplier hadn't gotten in the materials. That was impressive. And John, the owner, called two days later to say he had personally checked that the materials were in and the crew would be out. Again I told him I wasn't in a rush, but he said, "When I tell my customers the work will be done on a specific day, I want them to know it will be done. I apologize for the delay." To me, that's the mark of a great company. I will absolutely use them again for any exterior needs.
