Overleaf is a beautiful place. The staff is excellent, the accommodations are comfortable and very generous. Beautiful bathrooms. Very clean facility. We thought it was the best hotel we have stayed in on the coast from Florence to Astoria. Haven't gone south of Lawrence yet but I bet they'll be hard to beat I appreciated the very helpful staff. They are very friendly and accommodating to make your stay the best it can be. The facility is a beautiful place and very convenient to downtown Yachats for food and excursions. We enjoyed the hiking trails right outside the door. Beautiful ocean views. No comparison anywhere else that I have seen. It truly is a jewel in Yachats.

Clean, spacious, quiet! We needed to get away from our normal chaos, and although we didn’t plan to stay here, we (luckily) found ourselves here. This place rescued our vacation, and gave us the relaxation we were looking for. I’m only sorry we didn’t find it sooner, but we will be back! Breakfast: delicious. Noise: quiet. Staff: friendly. Rooms: clean! Location: perfect! Lauren is amazing at the front desk. She’s super helpful and full of interesting information for those who ask. So ask, about the landscape, the wildlife, points of interest…or just ask for some help checking out. Loved it loved it loved it!!!

First of all this is a very nice place to stay and everyone was super friendly and helpful. The complimentary breakfast is nothing to write home about. I mean, it's just eggs, toast, sausage or bacon and cereals and really good Thundermuck coffee. There are also juices and hot oatmeal but it's not going something to rave about. The lobby is very nice with many special wood carvings and hangings. The decor is very nice and unique. Our room was a handicap room on the 2nd floor but it's not a walk-in shower as shown on the web site. It's a bath-tub and my wife had a little trouble getting in and out. But the room is roomy and enough space for her electric scooter. I wish the TV was a little bit larger, but maybe I'm being a bit too picky. There are 3 restaurants in Yachats I researched and we liked all of them. They were Outta Gas Pizza (we had sandwiches), The Drift Inn and Luna Sea Fish House. All of these were great. We didn;t have a chance to try Beard and Roses bakery as the dang place is closed the 3 days were there. Did not get to try Big Dog BBQ either as they "ran out of food" (not good). I heard you have to get there before 3 PM to get their ribs or they run out. The drive between Yachats and Florence on Highway 101 is the BEST we have ever seen. There are many sights to behold. Such as Cape Perpetua State Park, Thor's Well (to get there take the exit called Cook's Chasm) and Sea Lion Caves (there are no Sea Lions after August, they go north to Alaska). They come back some time in December). But the gift shop is nice and they have good fudge and free samples! We also liked Devil's Churn and do not miss Hecita (Ha-SEE-Ta) Head Lighthouse. Stunning views!
