Customer experiences

On October 7 around 2:20 PM, I went to Stallion Express at Viking Way, Richmond, BC, to drop off a personal package, expecting to buy a label at the counter, as is common at most shipping locations. Unaware of the need to sign up online first, I asked the male staff member if I could drop off my package. He responded with a smirk and a curt “You have to sign up online,” in a rude tone, offering no smile. The experience felt unwelcoming, and the staff could benefit from customer service training. I’ll choose a different carrier next time.

Stallion Express has repeatedly denied claims for lost packages after they were delivered to their authorized drop off locations or directly to their warehouse, even after insurance was purchased. It is extremely difficult to contact anyone by telephone. Nobody answers the phone after countless attempts and the call goes into voicemail. Nobody ever returns the calls after a message is left. They deny the claims on the false pretext that the packages weren't scanned as having been received, even though the tracking information shows that the item was received at their warehouse and picked up by UPS and even after UPS declared the package lost and issued a claim for reimbursement. They sent the authorization and the forms to Stallion for processing the reimbursement, which Stallion is obligated to pay to the customer. Even when UPS authorizes a claim for reimbursement, Stallion Express denies the claim. If a Stallion employee fails to scan a parcel after having received it, that is beyond the customer's control and is not the fault of the customer. They have an insecure drop off location on Hastings Street in Vancouver. The staff at this clothing store do not scan the parcels when they are received. There is no way to prove that they received the parcel. They do not have scanning equipment. This opens up the parcels to the possibility of theft by store employees. When the drivers pick up the parcels from this store they also do not scan them. This also opens up the parcels to theft by the Stallion drivers. They are not scanned until they arrive at the warehouse in Richmond. Again, there is no way to ensure that the parcels are scanned at the warehouse and makes them vulnerable to theft by employees. Repeated requests to resolve this serious security problem have not been addressed. Another problem is an authorized Stallion Express drop-off location near Boundary Road called Marvellas Mini Mart in Vancouver. The employees sometimes use the wrong scanner. Apparently they have different scanners for Stallion Express and different scanners for UPS!! If they accidentally scan a Stallion parcel with a UPS scanner, it is picked up by a UPS driver and does not go to the Stallion warehouse. Then if the parcel is lost by UPS, Stallion Express denies the claim. When UPS is contacted they claim that they can only compensate the shipper and the shipper on the return address is listed as Stallion Express. Stallion Express denies the claim because it was never scanned as received in their warehouse and Stallion gets to steal all of the money UPS sends them, including the cost of the merchandise that was lost and they don't have to reimburse the original shipper. This is a totally ridiculous situation!!! Absolutely not recommended!

Stallion and this locations staff has leveled up my business. Not only is it super professional, everyone there is super helpful and makes working together seamless. Highly recommend for any small or medium sized e-commerce business.

The guy with blonde hair and Earrings works at weekend is very unprofessional and extremely rude. We're here to pick up our returned package and he ask us like we're thieves to steal their packages. Make sure you talk to other stuffs who are polite and easy-going instead of him. Zero service, huge attitude. Highly suggest to avoid communicate with him.
