Everyone at Square One Construction was extremely friendly and helpful. Every aspect of the job was done first class. Could not give them a high enough rating for the job they all did. Every contact with them was a wonderful experience. You don't always get courteous, caring, professional people throughout the entire company like you will with Square One! It doesn't matter if your talking about the construction or billing, everyone will take the time to explain it to you and put you at ease. All you have to do is sit back and enjoy the experience. Our main renovation was of our main floor consisting of a powder room, two focal walls with fireplaces, a kitchen, an upper bathroom and some cosmetic facelift throughout the main floor, staircase and railings. Before deciding on Square One, we looked into two other companies. All of theses companies including Square One were friendly and personable but Square One stood out with respect to their process and quote. Jordon went through their process with us and gave us a more detailed initial quote. He is knowledgeable and informative. Once we decided on Square One, their project managers Joey and Kevin were up front and took care of our requests and concerns in a timely manner. The entire demolition and construction team were all pleasant and considerate to us as we were living in the basement suite throughout the entire renovation. Their team all have their individual strengths that contributed to our project. The various trades people that Square One chose to involve in our project did an incredible job. From Katie our designer who laid out the blueprint to our vision to Nathan (Tiler) who is an extremely talented artist, Ben & co (Painter), Ryan & co (Electrician) and Les & co (cabinetry) all helped update and refresh our home. Our home went from an old fashion beige/oak look to an industrial farmhouse crisp clean look, which we are ecstatic about! During this whole renovation process, we realized that no project can run perfectly, but Joey and Kevin were great at helping us understand and navigate thoughout with weekly updates (via a building App) and in person checkins. They communicated well in regards to change orders & costs and they stayed within our budget. Kevin was great at getting various trades in and keeping things on track. The bonus was that we were able to move back in and use our new kitchen just before Christmas! Overall we are very happy with Square One. They are personable, professional, knowledgeable and proficient. They did an incredible job. We are over joyed and very satisfied with our renovated home

We selected Square One to complete our whole home renovation in late 2023. We primarily chose them based on previous client reviews, but we also had realtors, friends and business associates who spoke highly of them. We appreciated their strong links to the South Surrey/White Rock community where we reside. On 4 different occasions Jordan from Square One met us at homes we were considering and freely offered his time to review and point out pros and cons related to the home. He did this prior to any contract or payment being made and he always made himself available. Our goal was to complete our renovation with the least amount of stress possible. As part of this we engaged a designer and with just a few meetings to align on style, we gave them the latitude to manage the project design in conjunction with Square One. This was the best money we spent on the project. They created the layout; drawings package and chose the finishings. They liaised with Square One throughout the process and allowed us to focus on the important things like family, friends and professional commitments. We even engaged the design company to provide a whole home furnishing package which tied everything together. Square One was professional, courteous and communicative throughout the entire project. There was never a time that I felt concerned about the quality of the work or their commitment to our project. During construction the jobsite was always clean, and our neighbours always spoke highly of Square One’s consideration with respect to their properties. Despite a year long process, there were no complaints or issues even on the days when electricians, plumbers, painters, flooring and carpenters were onsite. We set a target date of September 2024 for move in and Square One delivered on this date. The result was amazing and we seamlessly transitioned into our new home. All minor issues after moving in have been resolved in a timely manner and they continue to provide service if and when needed as part of a home warranty. You can rely on and trust Square One for your renovation project. We recommend them without hesitation. Paul & Yvonne
