It's has always been good service whenever I go to State Urgent Care. This time the lobby was very full ,so I asked if it would be okay if I just waited in my car until it was time for me to be called back. 40 mins later I received a text for me to come back inside I would be next. I was diagnosed and treated within 30 mins . Fast reliable service.
There was about 7 people in the lobby, I thought I’d be in for a long wait. But it was probably <15 minutes. The physical exam was thorough. The NP was careful to explain her treatment plan. It was a pretty positive experience and I feel like I was well treated. (Pun intended.)
The lady at the front desk was wonderful but the nurse was not. She wouldn’t let me bring my friend back with me to get the shot whom I brought with me because I get sick with shots. I told her I get nauseous and/or pass out and she gave me the shot then left me alone sitting up in a chair. I almost passed out alone and had to get a trash can myself to keep from vomiting on the floor.
My boyfriend and I walked in this morning and I was bawling because the amount of tooth pain I was having. It was horrible. I felt dramatic because it’s just a tooth but my boyfriend and the receptionist were like “girl no this is urgent” the front desk, she was so nice and made check in so easy. She could see how bad I was feeling and she made sure I was taken care of. The lady who brought me back to get my vitals. An angel. So sweet and nice and she completely understood what I was going through. The NP who took care of me. She was so understanding and she listened to what I had to say. I was in and out in 20 minutes and felt more taken care of than any other urgent care I’ve ever been to. I’m so thankful for them. Picking up my meds now and hoping this helps
