» Customer Experiences:
The Good: - Super friendly staff — they greeted me by name the moment I walked in, which was such a nice touch. They really made me feel at home and ready to practice. - Great community vibe. Everyone was welcoming and kind, which made the whole experience feel warm and inclusive. - Beautiful studio space in Lace Village. Bright, clean, and thoughtfully laid out. -The foyer, lounge, and storage areas are spotless and well-designed — plenty of room to settle in before class. - Big windows in the practice space = great natural light and an open, calming feel. The Not-So-Great: - The very cushioned flooring totally threw me off. Balancing was a real struggle, and transitions didn’t feel as grounded. If you’re used to hardwood floors like I am, this might take some serious getting used to. - Please, no advertising during savasana. I’ve been doing yoga since the '90s and have never been pitched to while lying in corpse pose. That’s sacred quiet time — not the moment for studio specials or announcements. I’d suggest making time at the end *after* savasana if updates are needed. I even saw some folks leave early just to avoid the interruption. - The class flow was a bit repetitive. Despite different instructors, the Vinyasa classes felt almost identical to 26 & 2 and very 26 & 2-inspired. A little more variety or creativity would go a long way to keep things feeling fresh and offer more opportunities for students not enamored by 26 & 2 to be drawn to your studio.
The silent hot 60 is back every other Sunday. This class is super relaxing and sets the tone for the start of the week. Come check it out.
I’m so happy to have found a traditional Hot 60 yoga class! The new studio in Lace Village is beautiful with great parking. The instructors are all very welcoming, attentive, and knowledgeable. The owner Christine goes out of her way to be accommodating and ensure that everyone has a great class! I can’t recommend Steamtown Hot Yoga enough!
