I had a horrible experience. I had a total hysterectomy in Ames. Three days later I started running a fever, I went to Lake City because it was 40 miles closer. The nurses were great, the physician totally sucked. Ended up leaving because they tried catching and got no urine. I will never go here again.

Nurse was good and the gal at the front desk of ER was also great. But the Dr was very rude and would not recommend any trips here. Dr Susan Hornback was my doctor at 2am she had to come in and was rude. It’s your job. Lose your attitude towards your patients who support your paycheck. You could have told me my diagnosis without attitude and worded things a bit more friendly.

If I could give 100 stars, specifically to the OB team, I would in a heart beat. I’ve never felt more care for not only myself but also my baby in any other facility. Through my pregnancy I’ve had a few complications and bumps on the way and not once have I felt unsupported or uncared for while under their care. They are truly amazing, I could not recommend Dr. Richardson and Dr. Hornback enough. Such a wonderful facility and I’m so grateful for the team there!

I had a hospital stay last weekend due to dehydration and all of the doctors and nurses were extremely helpful. Special thank you to my nurse Danielle. She was very personable and made not only me, but also made my husband feel at home. I’ve had many many nurses throughout my life but she’s definitely one i’ll remember!
