Amazing spot! We sat at the bar and the staff was great. The OG Paloma was delicious but the birria style cocktail was so unique and great. We were over the dill pickle martini by the end but it tasted good.
One of the best cocktails + bar food I've had in North America outside of NYC. Top-notch mixology concept, subtle flavors, and nothing too overpowering. If you like places like Angel's Share & DCP in NYC, you're in heaven here considering the decent availability and price. The grilled cheese completely blew my mind too. I've never had a cheese with such mellow, milky flavor, for lack of better words to describe the sensation. Bar Pompette has officially become THE reason I would consider moving to Toronto.
I’ve been to many bars all over the world but this has to be one of the best, most friendly and accommodating places I’ve visited in a long while. The atmosphere, the drinks, the craftsmanship are all top tied. Special thanks to Mateo for his skills and helping create awesome memories through unforgettable cocktails.
