Outstanding Service Experience at Subaru of Bend I took my 2014 Subaru Crosstrek to Subaru of Bend for a repair, and the entire service department provided an exceptional, a five-star experience. Chip, the lead service advisor, set the tone immediately. He patiently waited while I exited the vehicle, clearly and gently explained the repair process, and never made me feel rushed or pressured. His professionalism and calm demeanor were greatly appreciated. What truly stood out was his thoughtful checklist of personal items I might want to retrieve before receiving a loaner vehicle—such as my garage door opener—which showed genuine care and attention to detail. Tara was equally outstanding. She clearly explained the loaner car policies and took the time to demonstrate key dashboard features, including the heater and Bluetooth controls. Her friendly approach and clear explanations made the transition to the loaner vehicle easy and stress-free. Based on this experience, I will absolutely continue using Subaru of Bend for future service needs and would confidently recommend them to others. Suggestions: • Continue the personalized, patient approach—it truly sets your service department apart. • The checklist for personal items is excellent; making this a standard practice for all customers would be a wonderful touch. • The loaner vehicle walkthrough was extremely helpful—especially for customers unfamiliar with newer Subaru technology. Buying a new car has been quite stressful, but Sam Goewey made the experience so much better. My husband and I were reticent about getting a Subaru and we were lucky to find a certified pre-owned Forester for a good price. Sam answered all of my questions in great detail and demonstrated the cars features really well. During my 3 visits this week, I met Matt, Kevin, and the manager, Peter Sercia—all super nice people. The dealership is well-maintained and kept very clean, and since it’s very close to my house it will be convenient when I need oil changes and other maintenance.
