Best thing about this hotel is the location. Breakfast option is a bit limited. Self service noodle station is not ideal as some people are not familiar or know how to prepare their own noodles. Shower can use a bit of a makeover. Otherwise, staffs are very friendly and helpful.

The hotel is an old one, but the room we had was newly renovated so it was not too bad. The pool (up on level 5) was too small though. Barely three strokes and one was already at the other end of the pool. When we were there, we found quite a number of crows and pigeons surrounding the pool area. They seem to enjoy drinking from the pool. Perhaps it was too hot that day. There must have been at least 10 of them perched on the pergola near the pool area whilst we were in the pool. When we were at one end, they would fly to the edge of the pool on the other side and drank. They were not aggressive so it was kind of interesting to be so close to them. There is a busy hawker centre just below the hotel but they serve non halal food so we didn't try them. There were a lot of durian stalls nearby too and we tried this once. It was really good. We didn't try the hotel food so we can't comment on that.

The location is excellent, with plenty of local food options nearby to explore. The staff are friendly, polite, and attentive, which adds to the overall positive experience. Unfortunately, check-in was delayed by two hours due to room cleaning. However, once ready, the check-in and check-out processes were smooth and efficient. The swimming pool is slightly small but well-maintained, and the staff provide great service, including towels. While the price is on the higher side, it reflects the prime location and quality service.

Had a most memorable time staying here. Concierge & check-in staff were most polite & accommodating. Renovated room is clean and well lit. Dressing corner was spacious and ample car park lots. Plenty of street food and local shops just below hotel. We have already booked for a return stay, this coming last week of March 2025. See you!
