I had a very frustrating experience with Tallgrass Freight Company. They assigned us on the 3 loads total, and after we secured it, they resold it at a cheaper rate without even giving us a heads-up or showing any concern for the situation. What’s worse, they didn’t even bother to reach out or communicate with us about the change. This kind of lack of professionalism and disregard for drivers and partners is unacceptable. It’s clear that they prioritize their profits over maintaining fair and respectful relationships. The lack of transparency and communication cost us valuable time and resources. I would strongly advise against working with Joe. There’s no accountability, and it’s impossible to trust that they will honor agreements or treat you with the respect you deserve.

I booked up a trailer with them from SAN DIEGO CA to CHICAGO IL. The trailer Guys name was DAVID BERG. I took the trailer from SAN DIEGO CA, when I picked up the trailer from there, I was informed that I have to deliver a GPS in CHICAGO at another facility. But when I reached there, he told me GPS is tapped in the SWING DOORS. I sent him pick up and delivery pictures and also the proof from the guys who inspect the trailer from receiver location. He consistently saying I am telling a lie. Then he asked me for the BOL for the receiver, I sent him both BOL for the receiver and shipper. I also sent him the pictures for the trailer. And ask for anything else he needed, Instead of facilitating me, he is threatening me that he will put a freight Guard on my mc if I ask for my money. This is very disappointing for me. Very harsh experince with tall grass, not a good broker. Firstly he never accepted the evident paperwork for GPS and picture and charge me a $250 fee for it now not accepting the BOL and not sending me my money for $250. I am very disappointed by your services and I will report your brokerage on FMCSA in case of not paying me my money.

Had interview with said company and they made it on the dot 4:30 so had to make arrangements to meet this appointments. After i got to a quiet place and was logged on 5 min early no one was there no phone call that anyone was running late or in another meeting. Nope after 5 min hung up. Rep called me back acting like no big deal. If it wasn't a big deal then why didn't you make plans to begin with to be on time or at least let someone know you running late.

Be aware of these scammers. I booked two power only loads I sent both trucks from 1000 Miles for pickup on 4th July, after reaching at pickup they cancelled one load and Refused to pay TONU for that. Second load we delivered on 8th July 1:00 PM as scheduled. But they forced to deliver on 7th July 8:00 AM. I told them single driver can deliver on 7th. After delivery they refused to pay for the load and sent a email to us don’t email us again and again you will not be paid single pany we have lost client because of you guys. Now they are not answering calls. Stay away. Most of reviews have pretty much same story.
