I have had dealings with this IT agency for several years , yes they will call you out of the clear blue sky to interview for their client's. After interviewing with thier client you will not receive any feedback or communication from the recruiter you spoke with in the beginning. Just recently about 2 weeks ago I spoke with Andrew Jaynes and Jacob Kernan thier client called Jewelers Mutual which I got no feedback after 2 interviews. So after 1 week passed I followed up and they mentioned they had given the offer to another candidate, but the candidate did not accept the offer and it was up in the air. Then they had me to send a thank you email to thier client Jewelers Mutual.

Thursday 01/30/25 When writing this review I want to ensure it's essentially to be constructive and specific to my journey and mines alone. I cannot speak for anyone else’s experience, however, any and everything shared will solely be about my employee journey with TEKsystem. Let me preference my statement by highlighting and recognizing the training staff/team over at “Mercalis” which is the company this role was staffed for and a direct client of TEKsystems. It was a cold and foggy night in the month of November 2024, and I applied for a temporary contractor position until there was an opportunity in my field available to transition to. Initially, I read the job description and the fine details that stipulated the work from home component. After my interview with the recruiter I made sure to ask all the right open ended questions a professional would ask. The first order of business was the pay rate, I was told the role would pay $34 an hour. Which was slightly less than what I’m accustom to making, we discussed the expectations of remote work as well. After the initial interview, I felt absolutely confident in the role and requirements. My recruiter was very communicative and helpful regarding any questions I cascaded to her. After the first touch base I was told they would take all of my requests to the client then follow up with me. A couple of business days went by, then I was contacted by the recruiter that requested a recording of answers to preselected questions. Pretty straightforward assignment, I knocked out the recording and sent it right back. Again, no reason to believe there would be any issues whatsoever. The recruiter on November 25, 2024 8:45 AM EST called and I initially missed the call due to carpool duty but followed back up with her, we didn’t connect due to her unavailability. When we did connect the terms we agreed upon had drastically changed. I went from being told the role would pay $34.00 an hour to $23.00 an hour, and there was immediate pushback from me. I explained to her not only is this such an erroneous drop off from our initial conversation but I couldn’t process how this was an acceptable operating procedure! The next big blow was the onsite requirement for 8 weeks, I didn’t find out about until after training had started. Again, Mercalis was very transparent and communicable regarding what was required! There’s a whole strategic outline for agents to train onsite for the first initial 6 weeks, then 2 additional weeks of what’s referred to as nesting. In other words, you will train with live clients under the supervision of your direct report. Now the major caveat…..are you ready? There’s a very unjust point system that must be followed during the 8 weeks of training. If you are late and clock in past 8 AM, miss a day due to pre scheduled appointments, get sick, have to leave early, or simply life happening, you will run the risk of being eliminated. Which straight up reminds me of the hungry games or an episode of squid games 🤦🏽‍♀️🤦🏽‍♀️🤦🏽‍♀️🤦🏽‍♀️🤦🏽‍♀️ Again, one must decide for themselves if this is the environment for you. The work performed is truly meaningful as a Care Coordinator and the role has my utmost respect. My issue is the recruiting style and lack of integrity to omit highly important information for professionals to make an informed decision on the commitment and what’s truly required! TEKsystem, my only ask is that you do better when it comes to those conversations when vetting talent. Please be transparent about pay, training requirements and the overall attendance requirements. This criticism is meant to inform a professional of what’s truly required to make it through the process. I am grateful for my time here and the income which was needed during this season of transition, I’m not too prideful to acknowledge this. But again, do better, you can potentially lose out on great talent longterm! ✌🏾
