Telus City Centre Edmonton is a bit tucked away within the mall but has a clean and well-maintained appearance. However, the main issue with this location is the lack of customer service. When I visited, there was only one staff member present, and they didn’t acknowledge my presence at all—no greeting, no “I’ll be with you shortly,” just complete indifference. For a store meant to assist customers, this experience fell short. If you’re looking for good service, I’d recommend avoiding this location, as it offers the same look as any other Telus store but lacks the basic customer care you’d expect.
DO NOT GET THEIR HOME SECURITY. We unfortunately signed on for a 5 year contract which ends next year thank god. I have been with telus mobility since 2006 and never had an issue. So I thought their home security would be reliable. It's a very unreliable system. The outdoor backyard camera never works. Always having connectivity issues. I gave up on it a year ago. It hasn't worked since April 2024. The doorbell camera also sucks. I will have people come to my door and it does not record the encounter. Makes no sense. Telus increased the sensitivity and it still does not record everything. Save yourself trouble and money and go with another company.
Thank you to the young samolian woman with the long balcony hair and pleasant smile / currently working ther. She had navigated my bill alongside with me, especially since my phone had been stolen. It was tough because I had touching photos of my younger brother who is no longer on this earth and she gave me some solutions while making me feel at ease knowing the future solutions to getting a new phone or options to my service. Customer service like this is greatly appreciate.
It’s a trope at this point, as they are a Canadian telecom company…. Terrible customer service, unannounced bill changes, useless automated services, high prices and an app that give no options I don’t mean to sound real old, but anyone remember when customers were not considered a pain in the ass and good customer service was something companies were striving for? How is Canadian telecom not considered a monopoly or at least a collectively controlled oligarchy is beyond me
