Excellent place! Anthony was our server- VERY attentive and helpful in picking what to order. The brisket and coleslaw were great. We also had chicken street tacos and the shrimp platter which were also great. If we come to visit, we will be going back! We sat outside and had a perfect view of the river walk with ducks right beside us (which our kiddo loved). Good selection of soft drinks, beer, and cocktails.

Celebrated our anniversary here. Dinner and service were both fantastic! Nik & Robert were attentive and knowledgeable of the menu. We enjoyed a Caesar salad with white anchovies, bison ribeye, hatch chili mac-n-cheese, asparagus with hollandaise sauce and chocolate mousse for dessert. Every course was absolutely delicious. We will be returning and bringing family with us to enjoy the amazing dishes! Our compliments to the chefs!

I recently dined at Republic of Texas in San Antonio, and it was a fantastic experience. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, making us feel welcome from the moment we walked in. The food was exceptional—fresh, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. What really stood out was that they’re open late, even when most other restaurants in the area have already closed, which made it a perfect spot for a late-night meal. Highly recommend!

Pros: Close to the river walk, able to eat outside/inside Cons:expensive margaritas, dry briskets, bugs can fly into drinks lol, and the glares from the workers made me feel uncomfortable. gave a small tip because of the ok experience, and offended the server it seemed like. hopefullt itll be better next time.
