Such a nice, authentic, and trustworthy jewelry shop in Tulum. They have tons of unique, handmade options to choose from. What really caught my eye was this tanzanite pendant in sterling silver, which I added to my existing silver chain. I also found a nice rainbow moonstone gem which I’ll gift a friend. The person I worked with was very knowledgeable and let me try on many pieces before I ultimately decided on the tanzanite pendant. It is a piece I will have for years to come and to remember my Tulum trip by. He also very kindly closed the loop/clasp to a different pendant I purchased in hotel zone (not pictured). I also brought a gemstone which I bought a couple of years ago, not knowing what type it is. He tested the hardness of it with a tester in the shop and helped me identify it. Many thanks!

There are many jewelry shops in nearby Playa del Carmen and Cancun, but there is a fantastic one right here in Tulum-- Amber's Boutique. 2 weeks ago, I went in and asked Roman if they could specially design a ring using a gold necklace I had and a diamond I hardly wore. My idea was to design it after a great-grandmother's antique ring from 1870, but style it differently. So, Roman, Amber, and I, along with the artist Mauricio, put our heads together. Several visits to the shop for 2 weeks to confer, the challenge was met! And, I now have a magnificent ring, just right! It reflects my style with a twist of 19th century elegance.
