There were so many things wrong with this appointment. First of all, I confirmed a reservation for a men's cut with Abir, who charges + $3 extra on top for being a master barber "intent on providing you with the absolute best barbershop experience around" according to their website. I arrive on time, and the receptionist cannot find my reservation in the system. She tells me she thinks I booked it at another location. I had to show her my text confirmation for her to get me in. Abir already has a customer in her seat and asks me to wait. When she sits me, I explain my haircut to her, then she rushes through cutting my hair. She's going so fast her comb is catching my earlobe, and it hurts like hell. She sees my face in pain and doesn't even apologize. Then her next customer comes in the door, and she stops cutting my hair to greet him. Then she proceeds to cut my hair even faster, forgetting to give me a hard part. The lines around my ears are crooked and do not match. At the end, she cleans up the hair on the back of my neck and vigorously vacuums my head, neck, face, and shirt. Folks, she is not worth the extra $3, and you will not get the absolute best experience with Abir. Never again for me.

Got a haircut from Zen today 10/19/25 and she hurried through finishing in less than 5 minutes. Several other guys were getting cuts when I started and they were all still there getting their cuts when I was done. It was scary with her hands snipping her scissors so quickly and buzzing with the trimmer so fast around my head and face. I told her it seemed like she was on a hurry, and she laughed but didn’t slow down. In the end I got a terrible lopsided cut and when I got in my car and ran my fingers through my hair a ton of clippings came out and flew all around me. Terrible service at the barbers on schools ferry rd.

I've been going to this The Barbers location for about 2 years and I'm always happy with my haircut. Van, in my opinion is the best barber here. She is fast and always does a good job. The company has started using online appointment setting. It is easy to make an appointment, although I'm not a fan of the text notifications that is sent - about 3 per visit. The Barbers charges a reasonable fee for a haircut - they're not cheap, but they're also way less expensive than others. I'm a customer as long as Van is there!

Disappointed with the service received today from Angie. Went in for a haircut and beard trim, the service was quick and when I looked in the wall mirror it looked ok from afar but looking close at home it was a bad job.
