The Cliff Spa, which is located inside the the Cliff Lodge at Snowbird, is a relaxing getaway buried in the middle of the mountains. Parking here is fine during the summer, but winter can get crazy since the chair lifts are close by for skiing the mountain. When you get inside, you take the elevator up and check in (reservations are recommended). If you want to do a class, make sure you sign up at least 2 hours ahead of time or you can't get in. Prices here are a bit steep for what you get - including a pool and hot tub on the rooftop, a gym, yoga studio (classes only), a sauna and a few private rooms. The place is a bit outdated and they've recently removed some basics they used to have in the locker rooms, including being down to 1 hair dryer in the women's room. Staff were scarce, especially on the top level. The steam room was very bright and the scent was overwhelming, like it was masking another scent. Some things need to be updated here, like the heaters, paint (that's chipping) and some other cosmetic things that should make it feel more relaxing. Cold towels and cucumbers weren't there anymore either outside the steam room. They have a good amount of tea available, with the only machine for water being at the stairs. Overall, I can see the allure for people using the mountain but there's quite a bit needing attention for the price you pay and the distance you travel to get here.
I found the Cliff Spa on things to do in Utah and the photos and videos do it no justice. From the inviting staff and atmosphere everything was perfect. I arrived at 6am and spent the entire day there. I loved the views from the different areas within the spa and they were simply breathtaking. The front desk receptionist was very friendly and was willing to assist me. I loved that I was greeted on arrival. The outdoor pool and hot tub was just the right temperature. I would suggest going early in the morning to beat the crowds as I had the entire rooftop to myself from 6am-8am. The locker rooms were very clean and maintained and there were plenty of towels available. I value customer service and I would rate the service 10/10. I will definitely be back. Thank you for the amazing day!
I visited the Cliff Spa for a Bachelorette weekend and booked a massage with Benjamin Bowen: it was absolutely incredible. From the moment he greeted me, Ben was warm, professional, and attentive to what my body needed. He checked in about pressure and focused on the tight areas I mentioned, blending relaxation with real therapeutic work. His knowledge and technique were really amazing. I left feeling loose, calm, and completely renewed: honestly the highlight of the trip. If you’re visiting the Cliff Spa, aside from all of their really nice amenities, please do yourself a favor and request Benjamin. You will not regret it!
