I wish there were more than five stars! Our experience with these fine folks has been very positive. From the initial visit to speak with Darren, who is honest, transparent and not pushy at all, we knew this was the right choice. With every decision we took, we felt informed and supported, and that our interests were a priority. We had an old fireplace removed and replaced by a new one and we could not be happier with the result. A shout out to the crew Led by David and Kevin as well as Mike and Damen (also Steve and Sanford) who did an exceptional job with great attention to details. We also got a gas BBQ that was delivered and installed along with a gas line. Initially, it was not meeting expectations and that is where Jessie, as well as Darren, really shined. They listened to our concerns, examined them thoroughly and even involved the manufacturer (all within a very short time), and not once made us feel bad about any of it. To the contrary, they were supportive and we felt they really had our backs. Very soon after, those concerns were addressed and resolved in an efficient, satisfactory and pleasant manner. It was our first time doing business here, but certainly not the last. Thank you to the team who were all kind, good-natured, and great at what they do.

We are a long-time customer of The Fireplace Centre who installed our gas fireplace approximately 10 years ago and who now service it every year before the winter season. Today, we noticed one of their service vans across the street at our neighbour's house. Because we had a technical question about our fireplace, I went over to the van and spoke with the driver, "Michael". I asked him if he had a moment to take a quick look at our fireplace for us and advise us on something. Because the neighbour was not yet ready for him, he came over right away and within a few minutes our issue was resolved. I had even suggested that we would pay for the service but he declined. Michael was great. He was extremely friendly and knowledgeable, and he addressed our issue in a most professional manner. We would like to thank Michael, and because of the great service we receive from TFC, and exemplified by Michael, we will continue to use them for our fireplace needs. Many thanks!

Jan 2025 Service Appt. The Fireplace Center. The Service Gas Technician, Dal, arrived promptly at 8 am for our scheduled Gas and Electric Fireplace appointment. His warm friendly vibe and unassuming strong professional manner quickly put me at ease. Dal worked effectively and efficiently while fielding my many questions. He was kind, quite patient, and very understanding while navigating through my many questions and comments. When an Electrical question arose, Dal provided me with a few options. He then went above and beyond by phoning The Fireplace Electrician, on my behalf, sharing valuable installation information and sending pictures taken to assist both me, the customer, and the Electrician going forward. This entire experience was a total service success with both the Gas & Electric fireplaces functioning with 2 thumbs up. I wish I could enjoy this level of success every morning feeling as good as I did that DAY! After visiting numerous fireplace stores in Ottawa in search of our new fireplace, we met with Darren from The Fireplace Center. Not only did we love their displays, but Darren was so informative & helpful with our decision. As we were under a construction schedule, Darren was able to move our installation date early so that we didn't have any delays, which was incredible as they were already booked out. Their installation crew were fantastic & left the area tidy & clean upon completion. After trying to install the finishing trim ourselves, Darren was able to send somebody out to complete this for us without charge. From start to finish, we were extremely happy with The Fireplace Center & highly recommend them. Thank you
