Customer experiences
When I think about The Fitness Club, so many things come to mind! More than anything, it’s a place where I find wholeness and belonging. From the friendly staff to the amazing club manager Sandra, everyone shows genuine care, respect, and daily support that truly make a difference. This gym isn’t just where I work out it’s my home away from home. I love seeing the constant growth and upgrades, especially with all the new equipment and machines they’re bringing in. You can tell they’re committed to improving the experience for every member. There’s a real sense of community and love in this place something rare to find in most gyms. Whether it’s a simple greeting, a helpful tip, or a word of encouragement, the atmosphere here keeps me grounded and motivated. I’m beyond grateful for the people, the energy, and the endless support that make The Fitness Club truly special. ❤️
The Club has been a pretty good spot for me. Every time I go in, it’s clean—not perfect, just not a mess like some gyms. The equipment works fine, and the staff are friendly without being fake. Honestly, I haven’t really had any issues so far.
I was a member twice. About a year each time. When I left the first time, it was because my rate of $20/month rose to $30/month because of new ownership and I didn’t catch it until months later. Whoever signed me up entered my email wrong so I never got the notice. I got tired of Planet Fitness so I came back. I cancelled this time because I was moving a week later, but they made me pay for the following month and the annual fee for the following year, even though I’m moving. It was the middle of the month and they actually had me use my credit card to pay for that at the desk. There’s no reason for that and if I had known that would happen, I would’ve told them sooner. They basically stole $69 from me. As for the gym itself, it used to be “good enough” but now it’s just “not good.” There used to be more classes when it was Fitness Evolution, now there’s barely any and they’re at odd times. The equipment is probably older than the members who use them and they need to be replaced. The machines have numbers missing, don’t run smoothly and aren’t comfortable. The plastic on the dumbbells is falling apart and a piece got stuck in my eye once. Some of the treadmills are borderline inoperable. It’s extremely humid and musty at all times, I’ve seen leaks from the ceiling, and the floor in the dumbbell area was just recently fixed after being uneven for years. There’s members here who are loud and obnoxious with banging noises, loud conversations and obliviously walk in front of me. The parking lot is really small and is always full so I have to park at the Starbucks next door. The gym in the complex I’m moving to is actually better than this place and I use it for free. *UPDATE: I got my credit card company involved and they charged the money back. Proving my point that it’s a shady business practice.
Firstly, good job on having multiple squat racks and deadlifts platforms. That alone gave a 5 star rating. These things are like gold nowadays to find more than one set in a gym. Traditional weight lifting gym. Not many of these around. The equipments are dated, but they in good condition. The place is kept clean and you will feel comfortable working out here. There’s cardio area, warmup and cooling down areas. There’s parking and pretty much everything you will need to stay fit. Staff is polite and which is rare these days. Overall, good job 👏 .
