See you in small claims… Alex, let me clarify a few things in your response to me. There were several times you didn’t answer my text in a timely manner so I was not wrong about that. I did not abruptly decide not to use you in the final hour but when you look at the mess that you left, I could not trust you any longer to do the project correctly. I also have detailed records of all calls and interactions that we had with each other. Do you want to compare? Yes, regarding the vanity the so-called damage I mentioned is more than a minor smudge. After contacting 2 Companies the so-called smudge as you call it can be removed but only with acetone. Acetone will ruin the finish of my new vanity. So I think it’s a little more than a smudge your words. As for the toilet, I don’t think I have to contact you on what type of products and consult with you what I want for my home. I like Kohler toilet You said you only work with American Standard that’s not my problem. Learn to work with Kohler. I did approve the plumber for the installation. I asked if you would call them and yes, you did. I never said a bad word about the plumbing company. They did a fabulous job. I have used them before. I no way, shape, or form, put any blame on the plumbing company. They did an amazing job and I did tell them so in an email to them yesterday. In fact, I would recommend them for any job if somebody needs any work done for proper installation in a bathroom. I am no way misrepresented any part of the situation. The work was not completed correctly or professionally. In fact, it’s gonna be quite a chore to get that substance you shot between my vanity and wall to get out because now it is hard as cement. People can make their own judgment. Pictures speak, louder than words. And I think my pictures on your handyman work says it all. Good luck to whoever hires you. I decided to use The Frankfort Handyman for repairs and some upgrading in my house. He put shelves in 2 pantry's and fixed some hinges on my kitchen cabinets. However when he installed the doors for the pantry he drilled in the wrong spot for the knobs and the doors would not open. Admitted he screwed that up. (picture attached, not acceptable). I decided to have him install a new toilet and vanity in my powder room. He said no problem and gave me a price. I am attaching pictures of what he has done. It is so bad I had to call another company to fix the mess. Paid him in full BIG MISTAKE. He is awful to return calls, texts and I had to chase him down. He said he could repair it in 1/2 hour. However, it should not be repaired or fixed. It should of been done right the first time. At this point I did not trust his ability in home repairs so I didn't want him back for fear that he would make it worse. When he finally did answer I asked for a refund or at least a partial and he said the work he did was worth his price. You can be the judge. Now it is crickets. It cost me time and money that I saved to have this done. My vanity is ruined, he could not properly put the toilet in and I had to get a plumber(which I agreed to because obviously he didn't know how to repair the toilet issue. That was an additional $275, the pantry doors look ridiculous with a set of holes that were put in the wrong place that he tried to repair and now I have to get somebody who knows what they are doing. I thought I had someone but lesson learned. How would you rate his quality of work? See the pictures below.

It can be hard to find reliable help these days, especially with one-off small projects. Alex has done a great job helping us transform our home by tackling all kinds of odds and ends. He has even created custom pieces in his home workshop when a needed component was not commercially available! When (rarely) something hasn’t turned out quite right, we have been able to work it out professionally and in a timely manner. He is a creative problem solver and leaves no mess behind on the job.
