⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I recently hosted my private occasion at The Globe Grub, Gachibowli, and it was an absolutely wonderful experience! The ambience was excellent — classy, vibrant, and perfect for both casual gatherings and special celebrations. The staff were extremely courteous and attentive, ensuring everything went smoothly throughout the event. A special mention to Manager Debashish, who was incredibly supportive and accommodating right from the planning stage till the end of the occasion. He made sure all our requirements were taken care of and went above and beyond to make the event memorable. The food was delicious, with great variety and presentation, and our guests loved every bit of it. Overall, Globe Grub offered the perfect mix of great service, amazing ambience, and a warm, welcoming vibe. Highly recommend it for anyone looking to host a celebration or simply enjoy a great dining experience!

Food Quality (Very Poor) Most of the veg dishes had no taste — bland to a level where we couldn’t finish even small portions. Mutton curry was missing even after 3 different attempts to pick it up. Every time we asked, we were told “10 minutes.” When it finally arrived after escalating to the real manager, the taste was rubbery and hard, like chewing a slipper. Crispy corn was extremely salty to the point of being inedible. Chicken leg piece was dry, hard, and had no flavor. Crab curry tasted the worst I’ve ever had anywhere. Pita bread felt raw, like half-cooked maida dough. Kheer tasted like semiya mixed with glue — completely off in texture and flavor. 🤦‍♂️ Service Experience (Highly Unprofessional) The staff literally threw food into our plates, as if they were rushing guests away. While serving prawns, they dropped them on the table and near our glass of water. One staff member named Ali, after multiple follow-ups for the mutton, responded rudely saying: > “Jo likhna hai likh do.” (Write whatever you want.) Only after we complained to the actual manager did anything move. 💸 Value for Money Considering the price we pay for a buffet here — the quality, taste and service do not justify the cost at all. It felt like paying premium for below-mess level food and careless behavior. --- 🚫 Final Verdict ❌ Tasteless and badly prepared dishes ❌ Unprofessional and rude service ❌ No hygiene while serving ❌ Not worth the money Rating: 0.5/5 (Only for ambiance)

Globe the Grub: A World of Flavors? More Like a Dessert Destination. RATING: (3.5/5) Globe the Grub presents a concept rich in variety, attempting to bring multiple cuisines under one roof. While the sheer number of dishes is impressive and some elements truly shine namely the rice dishes and spectacular desserts the overall experience is hamstrung by issues of consistency, speed, and, critically, culinary execution. It’s a place where the finish line is fantastic, but the race itself is slow and predictable. The Illusion of Variety: The Base Sauce Problem The biggest letdown at Globe the Grub lies in the main courses. Despite offering a menu that boasts multiple variations and distinct dishes, the unfortunate reality is that many items share the same or a very similar base sauce. This culinary choice immediately renders the promised variety an illusion. Everything tends to blend into a singular, "okish" flavor profile, making it difficult to distinguish one main dish from another. For a restaurant promising a global journey, this lack of distinctive flavor across different cuisines is a significant oversight. Service & Execution Flaws The operational side of the restaurant needs serious attention. The dining experience is frequently marred by two critical service issues: Extended Wait Times: Service consistently takes longer than expected, dulling the appetite and making a simple meal feel like a prolonged event. Inconsistent Temperatures: The quality of the food is further compromised by inconsistent serving temperatures. Dishes are often delivered either just warm or, frustratingly, stone cold. This points to a breakdown in the kitchen-to-table process and negatively impacts the texture and flavor of the prepared food. The Undisputed Highlights: Desserts and Rices Fortunately, not all is lost. Globe the Grub truly redeems itself with its side dishes and, most notably, its desserts. The Rices are commendably good, served perfectly cooked and seasoned. However, the real reason to visit is to skip straight to the finale: the Ice Cream and Desserts are an absolute must-try. They are distinct, well-executed, and clearly the pride of the kitchen. These sweet offerings provide the creativity and quality that is sorely missing from the savory mains. Final Verdict Globe the Grub achieves a middle-of-the-road score of 3.5/5. It scores high marks for the quality of its desserts and rice, but loses points heavily due to the slow service, the frustratingly uniform base sauces, and the unacceptable inconsistency in serving temperature. If you are looking for an extensive dessert spread after a meal elsewhere, or if you have ample time to spare, this spot might work. For a quick, flavorful, and consistent main course experience, however, adjustments are urgently needed.

Visited The Globe Grub in Gachibowli for a weekend buffet, and the overall experience was really good. The ambiance is vibrant and comfortable, with spacious seating that’s perfect for both families and large groups. The buffet spread is quite impressive — offering a mix of Indian, Asian, and continental dishes, along with live counters and a good range of desserts. We especially liked the starters, which were served hot at the table and had a lot of variety in both veg and non-veg options. The main course was flavorful, though fairly standard, and the dessert section had some nice surprises like hot jalebis and ice cream combos. Staff were courteous, attentive, and made sure plates were cleared on time. The place gets a bit crowded during lunch hours, so it’s better to reserve in advance if you’re going on a weekend. For the price, the value-for-money is excellent, especially considering the wide selection and service quality. A solid pick if you’re looking for a buffet place in the Gachibowli area with good food, lively ambiance, and consistent service.
