Authentic Yoga for people looking to relax, unwind, and learn all the foundations a beginner needs. .. I have been a certified hatha Yoga and meditation teacher for 25+ years and In all honesty, Im not drawn to any Yoga that is fast paced exercise. . Finding Joyful Yoga Center is a godsend! I purchased the 2 weeks intro deal and my nervous system is thanking me 108 fold. . Every teacher I have taken class with is well trained and calming. Atmosphere of studio is very chill aura, low lights and some groovy flowing lights on the ceiling. Great place for anyone looking to destress and flow. Studio provides every prop and mat you need. Clean bathrooms. Mellow music. Nice front lounge for community 💙 . Nicky the studio owner is also very down to earth and spent extra time with me after class to discuss injuries and give me suggestions for physical therapy I could try. Thank you so much ☺️ . Overall I really appreciate the gentle and inviting energy of this studio and its teachers. . One suggestion is to get there early for class because street parking can be hectic at times.

I joined the Joyful Living Yoga Center in March of 2021. I had not been to a yoga class in a few years, and even so, I felt I was a novice at best. Any nervous energy or hesitation I had simply floated away once I entered the studio. Each instructor goes out of their way to introduce themselves to you and make you feel comfortable. The other members are like family- everyone is warm and welcoming. The space is simply beautiful; you can tell that Nicky has put a lot of effort into making the studio a comforting and safe space for all. One of the things I love the most is their acceptance of all ability levels. As a plus size woman, it's so refreshing to hear instructors make suggestions to accommodate larger bodies and promote inclusivity. I found this studio at a time in my life where I needed community, connection, and a way to move my body in a way that was nourishing and positive and the Joyful Living Yoga Center has given me so much more than that. My husband and I are relatively new to yoga and tried other yoga studios in the area but felt that they were not a good fit for us. We decided to try Joyful Living Yoga. We truly love Nicky and this studio so much. We feel at peace and at home. The other instructors are also wonderful! I highly recommend this studio to anyone who wants to learn yoga or who is advanced at yoga.

Nicky and her dedicated staff of teachers have taught me that everything I ever needed to change can be found within. This is a special place where you will get the attention that you need. Joining this studio is the perfect step forward for the beginner to evolve or the most advanced and experienced yoga practitioner to begin again with a beginner’s mind. Each time I attend a class I feel like I am entering my sanctuary. It has a very loving and warm atmosphere and everyone is welcome. The teachers and students have become friends. I encourage all to attend for health, well being and friendship.
