If you’re in the NYC area and need a solid outlet fix, The Mills at Jersey Gardens is a great spot to blow a few hours (or a whole day). It’s huge — over 200 stores under one roof, so you can find everything from Nike, Guess and Michael Kors to Bloomingdale’s Outlet, all with those sweet outlet prices. Plus, no sales tax on clothes and shoes in NJ, which is always a win. The layout is pretty easy to navigate across two floors, and it’s all indoors, so it’s perfect when it’s freezing or pouring rain in the city. Parking can get wild on weekends, so weekdays or early mornings are way more chill. Food options are pretty standard mall fare (Chili’s, Applebee’s, food court stuff), so don’t expect anything fancy, but it gets the job done when you need a break. Overall, a solid choice for a tax‑free shopping trip from NYC.

We visited The Mills at Jersey Gardens in New Jersey on Boxing Day and had a good overall experience. We arrived right at opening time and it was surprisingly quiet, which made shopping easy and relaxed. We could move around comfortably, check the stores, and take our time with the sales. By the afternoon, the mall had become very crowded, with long lines and busy common areas, so it was a bit harder to walk around and shop. Still, there were plenty of stores, good discounts, and a wide variety of brands to choose from. If you’re planning to go on a busy holiday like Boxing Day, I recommend arriving early at opening time to avoid the crowds and enjoy a more comfortable shopping experience.

I visited this mall in Newark and had a pretty good experience overall. It’s a nice place to shop, with plenty of stores to explore. It was quite crowded during my visit, and I noticed that prices weren’t necessarily the best deals around. Still, I enjoyed walking through, and I was pleasantly surprised to find a Primark there, it was a great bonus I wasn’t expecting!

There are some Dead Malls in NJ, this not one of them. So many flagship stores with every big brand you can think of. If you sre a fan of shopping, this is the spot for you. I will be back again for sure.
