Priya McinnesThe food and drink was amazing. Probably the best place in Nottingham to try Pasta. The seating area gave a more pub like ambience than an relaxing dining/Jazz restaurant. The music was good, but I wish I could have heard it in a more relaxing environment. We reserved the table for 2 hours as it can get busy over the weekend. The seats given to us was probably not the best as it had more traffic but the we enjoyed the food.
AmyWe came to the Pelican Club for food on a Tuesday night for our anniversary and we were absolutely blown away. We ordered the aubergine parmigiana starter to share and I very much regretted agreeing to part with half of it because it was one of the best starters I’ve ever had! The sauce was so deeply rich and flavourful. My boyfriend eats a lot of meat and never would’ve ordered this normally but agreed it was 10/10. The mains were generous sizes and equally as tasty. For dessert, we had the Tiramisu - easily the best one I’ve tried. So gorgeous and well balanced. The wine was also beautiful and the live band created an amazing atmosphere. The Pelican Club is such a gem and really makes me proud to live in Nottingham where places like this exist. I’d recommend this place to anyone and I can’t wait to come back!

Puja MohindraThe look of the food was fantastic but the taste was as bland as if I am a sick person who is eating at a hospital. I was so excited for Jazz but it was only noise of the band that one could hear. Shame!!! we went all the way to Nottingham for an awful experience. Never again
