Stopped in for lunch and had an excellent grilled chicken sandwich. Definitely get the added caramelized onion. The vibe was very much 1990s grunge Scotland including the music. Dogs allowed on the patio. There were also some slot machines at the front if you want to try your luck…

Grabed a pint while waiting on my laundry next door. I was intrigued by the Mac of the Moment, it had corned beef, sauerkraut, fried onions and came with toast. So good. Bartender was very nice the beer was great too.

The Rose & Thistle's back patio is where it's at: so much booth seating (dog friendly), beautiful wood and mural vibes, and open-air seating for the cigarette smokers. I've only had a small taste of their food but the Mac & cheese was yummy. Drinks were reasonably priced and the selection was large enough to satisfy my friends. Inside you can find fun vending machines, video lottery, and plenty of booth seating.

Great historic pub bar gem! Excellent service! MANY TV's! All sports, football, soccer, baseball, golf, rugby, Olympics, tennis whatever.. SCOTTISH EGGS! Omg the build yourself hamburger options are awesome, try the pickled jalapeño, sautéed mushrooms, fried egg! You should visit.
