The room was quite nice. Centrally located to downtown area with a lot of shops and restaurants nearby. The room itself was quite spacious and has a rustic look and feel to it, which I liked. However, the acoustics were a bit rough. You could hear neighbors very easily and slamming of doors and walking around if you lived in the lower floor. The shower had crappy water pressure, but overall the room was clean and looked like a mini apartment, equipped with a decent size kitchen, living room and bedroom. I would visit this hotel again, but they need to make some minor improvements with the water pressure and acoustics. The breakfast was actually quite decent as well for it to be a continental breakfast. They had eggs, toast, sausage, assortment of cereals, juices, milk and coffee.

We stayed here on a trip thru WV. The hotel was nice. The rooms were comfortable and QUIET! We slept soundly. We purchased the meal package which included breakfast. The breakfast was not anything to shout about - eggs, cereal bacon, junk food. But, it did work to get some protein.

The Resort at Glade Springs is a go to place for us for a golf trip. Three unbelievable beautiful courses! Just returned and the fall leaves on the courses were breathtaking. Bunker bar restaurant is fun and very good but would like another choice of a restaurant. Buffet breakfast is wonderful. ||I cannot say enough about the entire staff at Glade. ||Love this place!!

My husband and I visited the resort late August 2025 and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. l was concerned about prior complaints about the rooms being shabby but did not find that to be the case. We stayed at the Inn (hotel) which was renovated last summer and our suite was spacious and in good condition. The grounds were beautifully landscaped and well maintained. I really enjoyed the fact that you can walk to almost everything. The leisure center is further away but there's a shuttle you can call if you don't want to drive. Staff was friendly and helpful with a shout out to Carla in reservations, Steve at the front desk of the hotel and Chester at the golf course. The only disappointment we had was that the Glade Bar and Grill was closed our entire 3 day stay and the Rotunda breakfast was closed for two days. (BTW-There's a nice restaurant called The Dish in Daniels, and a good steak house called Char in Beckley which was 30 minutes away). And I do agree with the criticism of Mallard Lake, it's a pond not a lake and you could paddle it end to end in 5-10 minutes. Note - We toured one of the Manor houses and one of the Lodges and they were in good condition and would be excellent for larger groups. The website can be confusing regarding the different lodging options so I recommend calling and speaking to a reservation specialist.
