I’ve been going to The Salon Corvallis for almost two years now for perms, and they’re the best! Always super friendly and accommodating. Steve and his wife are awesome people, and it’s always a great vibe every time I go in. I've tried other places for perms and would say this is the best and highly recommend.
Had a great visit here last week with Emma. She listened well and offered opinions and options for my hair. Heading back into work I received a ton of compliments on my haircut. The shop was clean, the staff were friendly and everything went well. They only accept cash tips which left me skimping out on Emma. I’ll have to go back and make amends.
I am so incredibly grateful for the service I received at The SALON. I have struggled with my hair lately. I just went through a bout of it falling out and thinning quite a bit. I also have let my gray grow in. With all of this it felt like my hair always had this messy look to it. I was a bit nervous actually going in because I often avoid salons; one, they are expensive and two, hairdressers seem impatient unless you know exactly what you want. When I called to make the appointment I was forthcoming with all of this information. And they were also forthcoming explaining how my appointment would go and what to expect. No, they can't give an exact price and no, they can't know exactly how your hair is going to react to the dying process. Makes total sense to me. I first worked with Lyn and she was patient with me. She inspired me with ideas and encouraged me. She was a cheerleader to me. I then worked with Emma to cut my hair and she styled it. She was great with my curls. She helped me know how work with my hair a bit since it's a little thin and working on growing it back. Both listened to my goals and took those into account. My husband loves my hair and that's what matters ;) Needless to say, I am excited to be able to go back and work with them again.
