I gave myself a week to adjust to my new hairstyle in hopes I’d warm up to it as it looked fine styled. I asked for lots of layers and face framing pieces. I have naturally slightly wavy hair. It feels like majority of my hair was cut straight with only some face framing pieces as layers. Overall, the cut feels choppy and I can’t say I’m happy with the cut as it wasn’t what I asked for. I probably could’ve asked for more layers at the appointment, but we were already an hour in and I didn’t want to extend the time. The hairstylist was nice but unfortunately missed the mark. The picture is of my freshly dried hair where majority of the hair appears to be the same length.

Moved to KC in the end of August and finally needed to find a salon; I am so glad I stumbled upon this place. The space itself is cute, clean, inviting, and just the right size. They also had a fire music playlist that I was vibing to the whole time. Every stylist I interacted with there was friendly and helpful during my short wait to get started on my service. My actual stylist, Tieler, was not only fun to chat to but she did an awesome job on my blonde highlights and haircut. She even finished them in less time than I'd expected! I will be coming back routinely. :)

Let me count the ways. This was the best haircut I’ve had in a long time. This face is clean inviting And on trend. As a guy I’m used to a less gentle haircut and Macy was incredibly gentle conversation was easy and I got a lot of compliments after the haircut. slight scheduling issue, which may have been my fault

I just recently moved to the area and I chose to visit The Salon for my hair! I do not regret my choice and I will be going back. I decided to chose a hair color I have never done before and I LOVED IT!! Amanda was my stylist and she was amazing. I had a great time and she made sure she gave me exactly what I wanted.
