Sarah sells a 5 star service, but only delivered a 2 star. A 3 1/2 month reno took 9 months to complete. Things started out very positive and we were quite happy. As time went on, things became less positive and exciting for us. For starters, Sarah told us she was going to send us color renderings of our project the following week. When she didn’t and we asked for them she replied that she is too busy and that now they would be at an additional cost. Our renovation was not done on time with delays being errors on their part, lack of communication and project management. We had wrong flooring delivered, wrong trim delivered and installed, door casings that were not measured properly that ended up getting filled with caulking. Their supervisor David did a poor job at managing our project. He said he knew nothing about certain issues yet he instructed the trim installer to raise the trim and put a shoe molding over the gap. We were quoted and paid for more expensive trim, but when they ordered the wrong trim they tried to cover it up. They ultimately refunded us for trim because they “quoted” one style, but installed a less expensive, smaller one. I wonder how many of their costumers they rip off by quoting one product but get a lesser one because they don’t check what was delivered and installed. On one occasion, their supervisor showed up 3 hours late with no communication. Final touches took over 3 months to complete. The demolition company damaged every interior wall upstairs which I ended up fixing myself. They needed to see pictures because they had no idea this occurred. Either they never actually looked around or hoped someone else would fix it. Our stairs were capped and I told them the day after they were not right. They apparently don’t know building code and tried to tell us that the stair people said it was ok. (H&J stairs and handrail). Sarah put a nice review on their page which speaks for itself. The stair issue took 8 months to resolve, which ended up being a day to fix, and about 2 weeks of touch ups. This issue alone almost resulted in legal action against them as we contacted a lawyer. When we had quotes done and asked for a settlement so we could get it done by someone else, they insulted us by saying we were trying to cash grab them. Actually all we wanted was the job done right so that we would have consistent, safe stairs done to building code. They were obviously not motivated to complete it, until they were pressured with legal action. We moved out for almost 4 months so they could have our home to themselves to complete for us. Sarah said she does a final walk thru to identify any concerns but she never did and relied on us identifying concerns. The owner James, supervisor David, and designer Sarah have little integrity. Whenever possible, they blamed others and only took took responsibility when it was pointed out we hired them, not their contractors. My doorbell camera even caught sarah telling one of their contractors to convince another customer to accept something they weren’t happy with. We do not recommend infinite designs. If you do hire them hopefully you’ll have a better experience than we did. Let’s see how many of their friends they get to positively review them to bump up their rating as the stair guys did!
