I have been here a few times for luminary with India and was pleased with her work. I had booked a fill with her today. I showed up at my appointment and found out she no longer works there. I had a different artist today and my nails are lowkey a mess! I don’t like leaving bad reviews, just want to help another girl out. I feel like I wasted 80$🫠 They’re all bumpy, missed shaped, twice as thick as they were, gunky and you can still see the brown color I had before on the sides of some of my nails. 😭

Massage was decent: probably 3.5 stars. Facility was great for an office park massage lounge: 4 stars. Pricing seems fair for what it is: 5 stars Unfortunately the checkout and payment is where it went wrong. I called a few days before explaining that I had a gift card for a service. On the card it said “60-minute Total Relaxation”. I asked what that service was and I was told it was a Swedish massage, but I could transfer the value of the gift card to any service and pay the difference plus tip. Great, that seems logical. We called the day of to book a massage, explaining once again that we had gift cards. They mentioned that they require a card on file anyway and we were fine with that. But they knew we were going to pay with gift cards. After our massage yesterday, the manager said “Don’t hate me, but these gift cards don’t work for the massages you got.” I explained that we had called and confirmed we could pay with the gift cards and she just said, “I’m sorry, these ones don’t transfer”. I’m not going to make a scene in this spa in the middle of the day on a Wednesday, so I just paid the $210 and moved on. Luckily I still have the gift cards, so I guess I can go back and get the exact service listed on the card. Hoping that others see this and clarify their gift cards before going to The Spa Lounge. Just get the service on the card I guess - even if they tell you that you can transfer it. EDIT: management reached out and made everything right. They treated the situation with respect and took care of us. I will be going back. Thank you!

Edit: The tech who did my nails was still great. However, less than three hours after I got my nails done I had three of them pop directly off. I had gel done and I was just changing my clothes when I noticed the color gone. I wish I could say I was doing something crazy to cause the damage, but this is not the case.It seems as though the gel quality was really poor because I’ve never had this happen before. Not sure if it was due to my nail tech not putting on a base coat. I sent a message to the salon that night, but it’s now been two weeks and I haven’t heard back: no call or email and I left my contact for both. I got these nails done for my mom’s wedding and left the next day at 3 AM and so I wasn’t able to go to the salon to get them redone. I typically love to give opportunities to make things right, and I told them this in my message to the salon. At the end of the day, it was $35 and I was out of town for a week after I got them done. I still would’ve loved a message from them or any sort of solution they could offer me. Jade was great! She was very meticulous and asked what I thought consistently through doing my nails. Made me feel like I could say something if I didn’t like what she did :) it’s a smaller salon than I thought so really quiet and relaxing. She also mixed color for me to get exactly what I was wanting.
