Got this insurance for my 18 year old daughter. The bloke that we purchased the insurance off seemed lovely, said they understood that people had to drive in peak times or unsociable hours and that wouldn’t affect her insurance or give her bad marks on the app. Load of rubbish. I’ve had to speak to numerous customers service staff due to the Theo device being absolute crap. It doesn’t know the speed limits on certain roads so it’s saying she’s been speeding when she hasn’t. It told us she’d been in an accident when she stalled it. It has no idea where speed limits change or where the signs are, so clearly not up to date. She had the insurance for 29 days and then we received an email saying they were giving her, her 7 days cancellation notice, so I phoned and was told we had 2 options, to cap her miles to 66 miles a week or to buy more miles. So she’s been capped and they also informed us that if she goes over that 66 miles, she’ll receive her 7 day notice again but will be cancelled with no refund, a cancellation fee and I’m sure your aware, if an insurance policy gets cancelled it has to be put on any quotes that you look for, which will bump any other car quote. I think this company is a joke. She’s paying £3000 for this insurance. Can’t fault the staff, they’re lovely and clearly following the rules of the company. They’ve always been polite. But I would stay well clear.

We arranged our son's insurance through Think as they were getting by far the lowest price from any insurers or brokers we contacted (still not cheap, but for a 17 year old its not going to be). Customer service has been absolutely faultless thus far. We've had to change the insurance on to a new vehicle and they've been incredibly helpful in getting new quotations provided and talking through all of the options. Had an issue in terms of fitting the black box and they sent videos and guides on what to do. If anyone looking for insurance for young drivers, who have only just passed their tests, I would recommend Think Insurance 100%

AWFUL! I’ve been with this company for a little over 2 months and have nothing but complaints. The black box device refuses to stick to the windscreen and I had to spend £30 buying a new cradle twice as a result. I have also received a £100 fine for ‘speeding’. This black box picks will mark you down for speeding if you go 1mph over the speed limit which is the reason I have received this fine (e.g. doing 31 in a 30 zone) I can’t stress enough how bad this insurance company is and how they will use any excuse to steal money from you DO NOT USE THIS INSURANCE COMPANY!
