My experience with Jimmy was great. I had some very engaging sessions with him, in which I learned a lot about how i view my myself, my partner, relationships, and life. I felt like Jimmy took a vested interest in my story and also really challenged me with some impactful and challenging self reflection questions. He’s really good at what he does, and provided me a good balance of building back confidence, while also providing ways I can be a stronger individual and better communicator and partner.

Our therapist Jimmy was absolutely the least helpful therapist I’ve ever had the unfortunate experience of seeing. Uses explicit and vulgar language, uses very painful experiences that he really knows nothing about (abortion due to health reasons) to apparently try to elicit anger from my husband. Referred to me as a bully and asked my husband if I scare him. When I tried to defend myself with tears in my eyes I was met with zero empathy or compassion. In fact I was scared to even speak up. This is NOT a negative review of Thrive, Meagan is caring, listens, and empathizes as a therapist should.

My husband and i have tried different couselors to help us out with some of our issues. We finnaly found someone that we feel that really cares and understands us. Jimmy has helped us so much. He is very professional and ethical. He respects our believes and opiniones. We feel very comfortable with him and the way he has guided us to overcome our differences. His guidance and compassion have been a sooting balm to help us healing the wounds that kept us apart Thanks so much Jimmy for all you do for us!

Meagan our counselor did not offer any advice other than just listening for 12 sessions. Totally not helpful. In those sessions the only word she said were hmmm.. When questioned she said her job was to give clarity. This was couples counseling to help with issues rather than just sit and act bored. Went to see because of the ratings but totally disappointed. Not only we left with unresolved issues , but wasted important time and money.
