It has been 6 years since I was last here. As a small regional airport there isn't any shops. They do have 1 hour free parking and coffee by donation. The staff is super friendly and helpful. You will walk outside to the plane so dress appropriately. 😉😊

Very easy in/out. No security. No food or drink options either. One car rental company and one cab company. It’s about $100 cab ride to get to and leave the airport so car rental may be the better option. Most flights are propeller planes so if you don’t like flying on a small aircraft, don’t do it.

Brand new terminal building for the Trail Airport which I recently experienced the first time and for anyone that has flown in and out of Trail, it's a night and day difference from the previous terminal building. The new terminal building is very nice; its large and open, clean, had a couple of flex spaces to do work if needed and the best part is the large seating area which gives you a direct view of the planes. One bad thing about the airport is the feee wifi that they offer. For some reason they chose to operate their own hotspot which was so slow it was unusable at the time I was there. It would be way better if they just added a Shaw Go hotspot for the convenience of travellers. If it wasn't for the crappy wifi I would have rated 5 stars.
