True Scripts is not an easy company to deal with. Yes, they answer the phones and tell you a bunch of crap to get you off the phone. This is my second year of dealing with True Script and the service just keeps getting worse. I have been on medications for years. Yet every year, even with a Dispense as ordered (DAW) on the prescription from the doctor. True Script prefers to fill medication with generics. Why ?, because they are an employee owned company. In 2024 when our health care changed to BPA/True scripts it took me about a month to get all the prior authorization's in place to get the actual name brand medication. This solution didn't last long. On January 01, 2025 again I was given generic medications that just do not work on me. I am on my 4th different medication which, I have all tried before. The results are all the same, as they were the last time. The medication did not work for me or it had the opposite Effect of what it was suppose to do. I am going into the 5th month of True Script denying my doctors prior authorization requests. When asking True Script why they are denying these request? True Script has given the same answer every time "The doctor did not send in the information we requested". Which the Doctor swears he has done, as well as he has been my doctor for almost 15 years. He has also seen what happens when I had tried different medications in the past. So I find myself spiraling mentally and physically with things snow balling. I am to the point that I can not talk to anyone, I am extremely frustrated and angry that I am being left in this situation. The problem is everyone works 9-5 and when their shift is done who gives a crap about the person that is actually suffering. At my age I know what works and what doesn't work with my body. I am now trying to file a grievance against the company. However "True Scripts is an employee owned company". So it is next to impossible to get one filed. This is why True scripts employee's pushes generics and denies prior authorizations. these tactics make more money for the company, which every employee owns a part of. I was told today by a true Script manage that I would be contacted by 2 pm today. It is now 3:25 and have not heard a word back from her. I called her again at 3:30 was told she spent the day interviewing people to work there. So the issues are still not resolved. They are closed on the weekend, so is my pharmacy. It's a Friday and the weather is nice out. Here comes another weekend in hell. The #1 reason not to get a generic medication is CONTAMINATION these drugs are manufactured in places like India & China by cheap laborers.
My experience with true script management service has been exponential. Absolutely great customer service. If you ever need help, ask for ether Bryea or Hannah. They will make sure your problems are resolved.
Absolutely the worst experience. I have been working on a med refill since Feb. This company has failed me as a client. I have been on this med for 18 months and chnaged insurance companies to this one. Now I have to jump through all these hoops and they keep deny the med. THE WORST!!!!
Spoke with customer representative Leslie today. She was very pleasant and assisted me with my problem professionally and quickly.
