Customer experiences
I just love this studio. I take both the Barre and Yoga classes, and the instructors all vary in style, which is so great because they aren't formulaic like the big chain studios. I also love that the owner acknowledges the real-world struggles rather than speak in vague abstractions. I reject toxic positivity and instead want to feel a communal understanding that I am not alone. I don't have any family in Philly and so it's great for me to feel that acknowledgment. I highly recommend!
My happiest place 💛 This adorable plant-filled studio lives up to each of my expectations, wishes, and dreams in every possible way. It’s not just a workout—it’s a whole vibe of connection, encouragement, and self-love. The classes are thoughtfully structured, challenging but accessible, and the energy is always so uplifting. Whether it's yoga to calm my mind or barre to fire up my muscles, Tuck always delivers. The instructors truly care, and it shows. LOVE LOVE LOVE
It took me forever to find a studio I really clicked with, but now I honestly can’t imagine not having Tuck in my life. Their plan is super affordable and well-rounded, the teachers are all amazing—so kind and encouraging—and the space itself is such a vibe. I can fill up my own water bottle (big win), it’s full of beautiful plants, and the lighting is perfect. Tuck has become part of my daily rhythm, and it’s one of those memberships I never second guess—totally worth it for both my body and my peace of mind.
Tuck is an amazing and extremely inviting barre studio that I am so happy I discovered last year. The space is bright with real plants all around the room, and the bathroom is stocked with so many amenities. More importantly, the teachers are all (and I do mean all) fantastic at what they do, and are incredibly welcoming and non-intimidating. Similarly, the class attendees are very friendly and down to earth. I have met great people there, and it's always fun to see the same people again and again in workouts. This is NOT your typical boutique studio. It has an intentionally non-boutique feel, which I appreciate so much but found very hard to find when I lived elsewhere (cough, Rittenhouse, cough). In terms of instructors, I almost never miss Katie's barre class on Tuesday am or Rachel's yoga class on Wed eve. Both have become important parts of my weekly routine. You also can't go wrong with any of Callie K's classes (she is the owner and teaches both barre and yoga). Her yoga and barre classes are fantastic, and she often brings her pup who greets people at the start of class! What more could you ask for? The pricing is very reasonable too, especially for unlimited memberships. As Philly studios get less and less affordable, I am super appreciative of this! Very grateful to have Tuck about 10 mins walk away from my Queen Village apartment!
