It is unbelievable how much of my deposit they kept for a house that was left in the same, if not better condition than it was upon move-in. This house was barely occupied, due to frequent work travel. They charged for things that were not an issue or broken. If the bathroom needed caulked, why wasn’t it done before I moved in? Repairing a doorbell? Really? I honestly didn’t even know I had one. The doorbell is an electrical issue. How does that responsibility fall to me? The bathtub is separate from the shower. Literally never used, yet charged for drain repair. This house was left in immaculate condition. Very disappointing they felt the need to grift me out of over $800.

My wife and I were searching for a rental property for months. Anyone who has worked with property management companies knows it can be a hassle. Not with Key Realty it wasn’t! Karyn and Andrew were so accommodating and helpful that they were able to help my wife and I find the home we were looking for in less than 24 hours time. They worked extra hours just to help us, and you could tell they really value helping others. They were amazing, would recommend to anyone struggling to find a home!

We were introduced to Key Realty initially with a viewing of a property with Andrew. I have nothing but kind words for Andrew and he is the sole reason why this review is a two star and not a one star. He was down to earth, extremely helpful and kind. However, the moment we were turned over to their office personnel to begin our rental application everything changed. We dealt with Melissa. From the first phone call with her, we felt like we were pre-judged, unheard and not given a fair chance at all. She amplified the situation creating an atmosphere of competition between potential renters instead of helpfulness. As a Legal Office Administrator myself, I am one that not only values authentic customer service but I teach it to my own staff. It was obvious that Melissa and in extension Key Realty(for allowing an employee to operate this way) didn't actually care at all about the people she was dealing with. It was fake and simply about putting bodies in rentals - toxic customer service with zero heart ultimately making the entire experience of applying and putting a deposit down extremely hard to navigate for genuine people who work long hours. After putting in a complaint with the company we suddenly were informed my mother had been approved and we needed to put a deposit down. Great - we were fully prepared to look past the madness to get to that point, in the process of getting payment ready, leaving work early and heading that way (all took 2 hours to accomplish) when we suddenly receive an email saying we weren't fast enough and the property was not available anymore. At the end of the day, we are chalking this up to the universe saving us from signing a lease with a toxic company. If you decide to utilize this rental management company, I hope this review gives you a heads up as to what kind of treatment you will encounter.

I would give it zero starts if I could!! Had a leak on our patio that took over a month to fix and it happened twice.. never gave assistance to help with the 3x our regular payment water bill either… Basically had to harass them to get anything done. Overall units are nice but management is horrible!!! Will also keep your deposit and try to charge you extra on top of it..
