As "do-it-yourself" travelers, I was uncertain of how working with a travel agent would be. Laurel and the Unforgettable Trips team have been planning our vacations now for over 3 years, and I wonder what took me so long! Working with Laurel is a dream! I can be as involved with research and planning as I want to be, or not. Our trips have varied in complexity from a one week cruise, to many personalized extended tours, like 6 weeks safari in eastern Africa or 4 weeks trekking Patagonia. These can be super complicated logistically and Laurel is always on top of it - flights, transfers, lodging, tours, etc. She really cares and takes the time to listen and learn your personal style of travel, preferences, budget and likes/dislikes. She is very knowledgeable or proactive if there is something to research, tapping in to her large network of sources and vendors. Time and time again, she has helped craft Unforgettable experiences for us, saving us money in the long run, and simplifying the process. The work she puts into adding ALL of the travel details (and more) into the app are a lifesaver! While traveling, it is also comforting to know that someone so familiar with your itinerary and capable has your back should any needs arise. And of course she is a delight - so sweet with a heart of gold! We have even been on a few of her 'Group Trips' and she has done an amazing job with those - creating an extremely well balanced itinerary of off-the-beaten-path authentic experiences mixed with the 'must do' items in the area. We have learned that we can trust her instinct, and therefore, now just GO with whatever she puts together, perhaps extending those trips on the front and back end if we desire... All, of which, she handles professionally, seamlessly, and happily. Thank you Laurel for all you do and all you are. You enrich our lives so with your talent and hard work!

Laurel planned my birthday trip to the French Polynesian islands of Moorea & Bora Bora in March. Due to COVID requirements and the fact that I was traveling with a group of five, coordinating all the details sounded overwhelming. Laurel took care of every single detail, worked within our budget, and we had the trip of a lifetime! She even arranged for a beautiful tropical flower crown to be left in our room for me on my birthday! She asks all the right questions, listens, and provides reminders and an app to help keep track of all your trip details. I usually plan trips myself, but never again! I’ll never consider using anyone except for Laurel in the future. Thank you so much, Laurel!
